Blue Horizons NZ was formed in 2014 and provides a range of professional services dedicated to advancing and supporting excellence in nursing practice. Our annual flagship event, the annual Diabetes and Related Conditions Prescribing Meeting, brings together healthcare professionals for high-quality education, networking, and clinical updates.

We offer locum diabetes services delivered by an experienced team of Nurse Practitioners and a Clinical Nurse Specialist, ensuring expert, patient-centred care. Blue Horizons NZ also provides professional supervision and mentorship to support the development, confidence, and success of nurses working in advanced practice roles.

Diabetes and Related Conditions Prescribing Meeting

The Diabetes and Related Conditions Prescribing Meeting is Blue Horizons NZ's flagship educational event. Designed for Nurse Practitioners, as well as Registered Nurses and Pharmacists with prescribing authority, it delivers practical, evidence-based learning that translates directly into clinical practice. Consistently rated 9/10 or higher by attendees, the meeting is renowned for its high-quality education, expert speakers, and meaningful impact on everyday prescribing decisions.
